Lightsource proposed solar farm at Bolsovermoor Quarry

Lightsource Renewable Energy is working towards installing a solar farm on former quarry land at Bolsovermoor Quarry, near Bolsover. As well as generating renewable energy, the proposed solar farm will also be grazed by sheep; enhancing the work that has already been carried out to bring this land back into agricultural use.

The selected portion of land is extremely well-screened by surrounding vegetation and woodland, so there are no views from surrounding houses, roads or footpaths.
